Three powerful female voices characterize this year's recording sessions. The Munich-based singer Stefanie Boltz kicks things off. In a duo with cellist Nenad Uskokovic, we can expect a jazzy chamber piece with bluesy pop interludes.

 

Stefanie Boltz is one of Germany's most prominent jazz and pop singers, but she also works as a teacher, festival director, and agent. After successful years as a musical duo with double bassist Sven Faller, the Munich native began her solo career as a singer-songwriter eight years ago and has produced four albums. Her vocals range from powerful to tender in all shades, and she has created a unique musical style that blends jazz, blues, gospel, and pop.
