The Argentinian Marcela Arroyo brings the powerful female voices to a close with music from her homeland, infused with jazzy and folk elements. She is accompanied by the Argentinian guitarist Quique Sinesi and the Swiss accordionist Patricia Draeger.

 

Marcela Arroyo grew up in Buenos Aires, where she studied singing. Her musical career began after moving to Switzerland in 2000, but she remained closely connected to the music of her homeland. Through her extensive network of stars in the Argentinian scene, as well as new acquaintances in Switzerland, she developed Tango Nuevo in new directions. This is reflected in her diverse discography and numerous projects, with active concert schedules primarily in Switzerland and Argentina.
